Terms of Use
Effective 27 July 2026 · Version tp-260727
1. Who we are and what the Service is
These Terms form an agreement between you and TradePolaris.com (“TradePolaris”, “we”, “us”). Contact us at business@tradepolaris.com.
TradePolaris is research software. Depending on your plan and rollout status, the Service may include market-data views, Vega research, Aegis portfolio-risk analysis, strategy authoring, walk-forward backtesting, paper trading, shared reports or apps, and read-only data/API tools. It does not hold client money or securities and does not place live orders.
2. Eligibility, accounts, and access links
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding passwords, API keys, and bearer-style share links, and activity under your account. Do not share credentials or create accounts automatically. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
A public share link can expose the report, research thread, or app to anyone who obtains it. You are responsible for checking its contents before sharing it and for revoking it when access is no longer intended.
3. Research only; no brokerage or advice
The Service provides software, data presentation, and historical or hypothetical analysis. It is not investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice; we are not your broker, adviser, fiduciary, or exchange. Outputs are not a recommendation or an offer to transact. You remain responsible for every investment decision and for independently checking information you rely on. See our Disclaimer.
4. AI-generated and computed outputs
Vega and other AI-assisted features can be incomplete, stale, inconsistent, or wrong. Citations show where a claim came from; they do not guarantee that the source or interpretation is correct. Generated queries, charts, summaries, code, and proposed next steps must be reviewed before use. A refusal or failed lookup is an output, not permission to infer the missing result.
TradePolaris does not autonomously execute trades. If a feature asks you to confirm a consequential or paid action, you are responsible for reviewing the scope and cost before confirming it.
5. Your content
You retain your rights in the portfolios, holdings, prompts, strategies, code, uploaded datasets, reports, research threads, app specifications, and configurations you provide or create (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, reproduce, and transmit Your Content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You must have the right to provide Your Content. Do not upload malware, regulated personal data you are not authorised to process, material that infringes another person’s rights, or code that attempts to escape a sandbox or reach another tenant.
6. Acceptable use
You may not probe or bypass access controls, evade quotas or rate limits, interfere with the Service, reverse engineer non-public interfaces except where law expressly permits it, scrape at abusive rates, use the Service unlawfully, or present TradePolaris outputs as guaranteed or independently verified. You may not use the Service to operate an unregistered advisory or brokerage business.
7. Data API and MCP access
API keys and MCP access are account-scoped, read-only unless we expressly state otherwise, and subject to the scopes, expiry, budgets, and source restrictions shown when created. Store secrets in a secrets manager; the raw key is shown only when issued and we cannot recover it for you.
Access is licensed for your own authorised research and internal workflows. Bulk extraction, redistribution, sublicensing, building a competing data feed, or operating a shared service for third parties requires a separate enterprise API agreement. Pre-release API or MCP features may change or be withdrawn before general availability.
8. Fees, credits, and renewals
Current plans, included credits, action prices, and one-time credit packs are shown on the Pricing page and at checkout. Usage charges may vary with the work requested; we show the applicable cost before a paid action where the product supports confirmation. Credits are not cash, cannot be transferred, and have no value outside the Service except where law requires otherwise.
Stripe processes payments; we do not store complete card numbers. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel a subscription through the billing portal. Price, allowance, and quota changes apply going forward and will be communicated as required by law.
9. Market data and third-party services
Market, reference, fundamental, news, and macro data comes from third parties and can be delayed, revised, incomplete, or subject to vendor and exchange restrictions. Coverage and point-in-time support are dataset-specific. The Service also depends on hosting, compute, payment, email, analytics, security, AI, and research providers. Their outages or terms can affect availability.
10. Our intellectual property
We and our licensors own the Service, software, design, trademarks, documentation, and compiled datasets, excluding Your Content. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is in good standing. No other rights are granted.
11. Availability and changes
Features, datasets, models, quotas, and beta access may be added, changed, suspended, or removed. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every historical result remains reproducible when its stated inputs are unavailable. We may update these Terms and will provide notice of material changes as required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Disclaimers and liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR TRADING LOSSES, LOST PROFITS OR DATA, OR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF US$100 OR THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time. We may limit, suspend, or terminate access for breach, abuse, security risk, non-payment, or legal requirement. Rights and obligations that by their nature should survive—including payment, ownership, disclaimers, liability, and governing law—continue after termination.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence.
