1. Who we are
TradePolaris (“the Service”) is a product of, and is operated by, ARVV LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“we”, “us”). Contact: r@tradepolaris.com. The Service lets you build systematic equity strategies, run historical walk-forward backtests, and run paper (simulated) deployments. It does not place real orders and does not hold client funds or securities.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. One account per person; automated account creation is prohibited.
3. Not investment advice; no brokerage
The Service provides software tooling and historical analysis only. Nothing in the Service — including backtest reports, gate scores, paper signals, templates, or documentation — is investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any security. We are not your fiduciary, broker, or adviser. Any trading decisions you make based on outputs of the Service are yours alone, at your own risk. See the Disclaimer for the limits of hypothetical performance.
4. Your content and strategies
Strategies, code, and configurations you create remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to store and execute them solely to provide the Service (e.g. running your backtest in our sandbox). You must not upload code that attempts to escape the sandbox, access other users’ data, abuse compute quotas, or break the law. We may suspend strategies or accounts that do.
5. Acceptable use
No reverse engineering of non-public APIs, scraping at abusive rates, reselling Service output as your own data feed, probing other tenants, or using the Service to operate an unregistered advisory business. Rate limits and quotas are part of the Service; evading them is a breach of these terms.
6. Fees
The Service runs on credits, where 100 credits = US$1. Every account receives a free allowance of credits each month (currently 300 credits / month), and most actions stay free within that allowance. Usage beyond the free allowance is billed in credits, which you can obtain either through an optional Pro subscription (currently US$20/month, including 2,500 credits each month) or by buying one-time credit packs (currently 1,000 credits for US$10, 2,500 credits for US$25, or 10,000 credits for US$100). The current prices and credit amounts are shown before you purchase. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — we do not store card numbers. The Pro subscription renews automatically until you cancel it, and you can view, change, or cancel it at any time in the billing portal; credit prices and the credit catalog may change on a going-forward basis.
7. Market data and third-party services
Historical market data, cloud compute, email, and hosting are provided through third parties (including AWS, Modal, Vercel, Resend, and Stripe). Data is provided “as is”; we do not warrant completeness or accuracy and exchanges may impose their own terms on redistribution.
8. Availability and changes
The Service may change over time: features may be added, modified, or removed, and credit prices, allowances, and quotas may be adjusted on a going-forward basis. We aim to keep the Service reasonably available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and planned maintenance windows may interrupt access. We may modify these terms; continued use after notice of a material change constitutes acceptance.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR TRADING LOSSES, LOST PROFITS, OR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF US$100 OR THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms, legal requirement, or abuse. Sections 3, 9, and 11 survive termination.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules; the state and federal courts located in Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections of your place of residence.
